About Bob Kerrey
Bob Kerrey is Managing Director at Allen & Company. From 2001 to 2011 Mr. Kerrey was President of The New School. From 1989 to 2001 Senator Kerrey was the US Senator from Nebraska. He is a member of the 9/11 Commission. Prior to his Senate service – Mr. Kerrey served as Nebraska’s Governor. Before entering politics he was a businessman who helped build a chain of restaurants and health clubs employing over 1000 people. Mr. Kerrey served as a U.S. Navy SEAL during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his heroism. In 1992 – Senator Kerrey ran for the Democratic nomination for President.
