About Robert Casey
United States Senator Robert Casey – is the senior United States Senator from Pennsylvania – and he previously served as Pennsylvania Treasurer 2004- 2006 and Pennsylvania Auditor General from 1997 to 2004. He is a Democrat. Casey is the son of Bob Casey – Sr. – a former Governor of Pennsylvania. He is the first Democrat to be elected to a full term and win reelection in the U.S. Senate from Pennsylvania since 1962. Casey defeated incumbent Republican U.S. Senator Rick Santorum in the 2006 election and was re-elected in 2012. Casey serves on Committee on Agriculture – Nutrition – and Forestry – Committee on Finance – Committee on Health – Education – Labor – and Pensions – Special Committee on Aging and the Joint Economic Committee.
