About Hillary Clinton

Hillary Clinton is campaigning for the Democratic nomination for President of the United States in the 2016 election and as of this writing has nearly secured the nomination.  She was the 67th United States Secretary of State from 2009 to 2013. From 2001 to 2009, Clinton served as a United States Senator from New York. She took a leading role in the health issues faced by 9/11 first responders, and voted for the USA Patriot Act in October 2001.  She is the wife of the 42nd President of the United States Bill Clinton, and was First Lady of the United States during his tenure from 1993 to 2001.  President Clinton was the Governor of Arkansas 1979–1981, 1983–1992 during which time Hillary was the First Lady of Arkansas for twelve years.   Secretary Clinton is a native of Chicago. Gallup’s most admired man and woman poll in 2015, Mrs. Clinton was named the most admired woman by Americans for a record fourteenth straight time and twentieth time overall.  (Hillary Clinton’s books)
