About Richard Anderson
Richard Anderson is the president of the New York Building Congress, which represents professionals in the construction industry, including laborers, contractors, architects, engineers and developers. He has been running the nonprofit association since 1994 and before that served as the president of the Regional Plan Association, an urban research and advocacy group. Dick Anderson is a nationally-recognized association executive and urban planner. An advocate of effective infrastructure and economic development, he has dedicated more than 30 years to promoting the long-term growth of America’s foremost urban centers, primarily New York City.
