About Matthew Mandery
Matthew Mandery, the only Tech alumnus to serve as principal of Brooklyn Tech, and in 1983 had the extraordinary vision to build an alumni organization that would support Tech through financial, social and educational contributions. His keen insight, deep commitment and love for the school were at the core of the creation of the Foundation. Liz Sciabarra served for 35 years in the public school system. She was the founder and Superintendent of the Office of Student Enrollment just before retirement. She was then appointed the Executive Director of the Brooklyn Tech Alumni Foundation in 2012.
