Francis Gasparik, O.F.M. Cap., is the Provincial Minister of the Franciscans.  The Capuchin Franciscans are one of the largest religious orders in the Catholic Church. There are approximately 10,000 Capuchins ministering throughout the world, working in more than 100 countries.   Their mission is feed and clothe the hungry.  Currently, the St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters of New York City serve over 1.2 million meals each year.  The St. Francis Food Pantries & Shelters is a network of food and service programs for the poor that provide a wide range of services to feed, clothe, counsel, and alleviate physical and emotional hunger in a dignified and supportive manner.
