About Ben Carson
Ben Carson was for a time a leading candidate for the 2016 Republican Presidential nomination. He is an author and retired, world renowned neurosurgeon. Since he has withdrawn from the Presidential contest he has endorsed Donald Trump. He left a mark of civility and thoughtful answers to questions while in the race. He was the most credible conservative in the race for many months. Prior to entering politics, he is the first surgeon to successfully separate conjoined twins joined at the head. At age 33, he became the youngest major division director in Johns Hopkins history, as director of pediatric neurosurgery. He was also a co-director of the Johns Hopkins Craniofacial Center. In 2008 he was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George W. Bush. (Books by Dr. Ben Carson)
