About Adriano Espaillat
Adriano Espaillat, is a member of the New York State Senate and a former member of the New York State Assembly. He is the Democratic nominee for the House of Representatives for New York’s 13th congressional district, to succeed retiring Charles Rangel. He is currently a Ranking Member of the Senate Housing, Construction and Community Development Committee and Chair of the Senate Latino Caucus. Espaillat represents the neighborhoods of Marble Hill, Inwood, Washington Heights, Hamilton Heights, West Harlem, and the Upper West Side in Manhattan and the Bronx. Prior to his election to the New York State Assembly, Espaillat was an active voice on New York City Community Board 12, and President of the 34th Precinct Community Council.
