About James Kallstrom
James Kallstrom is a recognized expert on security, counter-terrorism, management and government/public affairs issues. Mr. Kallstrom worked for FBI for over 25 years, retiring with the title of Assistant Director in Charge, New York Division. When Mr. Kallstrom, a wiretap expert, took over the New York office in February of 1995, he already had a reputation as a technical wizard who had built the bureau’s engineering research facilities at Quantico, Va., and whose surveillance techniques had helped build cases against major organized crime figures and terrorists in New York since the mid-1970’s. Mr. Hallstrom was lead investigator of TWA flight 800 crash.
