Timothy Sini Suffolk County District Attorney January 2018. Prior to District Attorney served as Commissioner of the Suffolk County Police Department. Law career began the office of Southern District U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara. Prior to District Attorney Sini’s election, he served as the 13th Commissioner of the Suffolk County Police Department, which is the 11th largest police department in the nation.
