John CATS Proposes a Challenge Grant of $100,000 for The National Lighthouse Museum!

John Catsimatidis recently proposed a challenge grant of $100,000 to get The National Lighthouse Museum in Staten Island project of the ground. The EDC(Electric Daisy Carnival, New York) required money to be put up before the museum could rest at its present home. The People of NYC won as we all came to bat and raised the money required to jumpstart this incredible endeavor. Mr. Catsimatidis did this challenge grant in honor of his father, Andreas CATS, who worked as Lighthouse keeper to feed his family in the Old Country for seventeen years.
