Interview Highlights

– Speaks about the upcoming election for Staten Island District Attorney and the GOP candidate Joan Illuzzi. “Her resume is incredible.”

– Says that Republican Assemblyman Joe Borelli is running unopposed for the Staten Island South Shore City Council seat. The Governor may not call a special election to fill Borelli’s seat in the State Assembly. “We have to wait for the governor, Gov. Cuomo to call for that election, and going by what he’s done in the past, it’s quite possible he may not call that election until next year, We may be going a year without representation on the south shore of the New York state Assembly — which I’m not happy with at all.”

– Speaks about the change in leadership in the Brooklyn GOP, where Arnaldo Ferraro has replaced Craig Eaton as Chairman.
