Charles Sullivan, with his late father Billy were for three decades the owners of the New England Patriots Football Club. The Patriot team Billy, Charles and Patrick Sullivan thoughtfully built into a participant in Super Bowl XX provided the solid foundation for the success the Patriots are enjoying today. Charles also owned the Sullivan Stadium in Foxboro where the Patriots played. He served for eight years as the Chairman of The National Football League Management Council. The Collective Bargaining Agreement Charles negotiated in association with the late Dan Rooney with the NFL Players Association in 1982 and subsequent amendments to that Agreement provided the NFL with 25 years of labor peace and enabled the NFL to become the premier sports league in America.  He was the co-founding managing partner of the New York office of the O’Melveny & Myers law firm from California, which now has over 250 lawyers on staff and is continuing its amazing growth.  Mr. Sullivan is a major supporter of the Police Athletic League.
