About Captain Roy Richter
Captain Roy Richter is the President of the NYPD Captains Endowment Association since 2008. He holds the rank of Deputy Inspector in the NYPD, Captain since 2001 after a 28 year police career. Captain Richter is an attorney – graduate of Fordham University School of Law in 1998. He began his police career as a patrol officer in Brooklyn North and Manhattan sections of the City. He was the former Managing Attorney NYPD Legal Bureau Forfeiture Unit and Civil Section. Former Commanding Officer of NYPD License Division.
