About Dov Hikind
Assemblyman Dov Hikind has served the 48th Assembly District for more than three decades as an outspoken advocate for his constituency, battling discrimination, anti-Semitism, Holocaust denial, and human rights violations. Elected in 1982, Mr. Hikind honorably serves the residents of Borough Park and Midwood. For the last 32 years, he has committed himself to addressing the immediate concerns of his constituency and is proud to advocate on their behalf. Mr. Hikind also frequently receives calls for his leadership on issues which involve the greater Jewish community. With anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiment rising to historically dangerous levels globally, the Assemblyman’s position on the front lines of advocacy on behalf of the State of Israel, the Jewish people of Israel and Jews here in New York City is even more vital.
