Alan Dershowitz is a lawyer, jurist, author, and political commentator. Dershowitz was born in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. He is one of the most well-known lawyers in America. Professor Dershowitz is a scholar on United States constitutional law and criminal law. One of its most distinguished defenders of individual rights. He is an opinion leader in the Jewish. He is the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law (emeritus) at Harvard Law School. He has been involved with some of the most famous trials in recent history such as Mike Tyson – Patty Hearst – Jim Bakker – Claus von Bülow – O.J. Simpson – Leona Helmsley – Michael Milken – and numerous others. He sees himself as a “lawyer of last resort”—someone to turn to when the defendant has few other legal options.
