John Catsimatidis, the modern American Industrialist who ran for Mayor of New York City in 2013, made news again.
Speaking at a Queens Chamber of Commerce Annual Breakfast moderated by New York Daily News, ‘CATS’ said he had a proposal for a New York City World’s Fair for 2024, and called upon the Mayor and Governor to get involved by creating a task force to assess the feasibility of this dream, including the five Borough Presidents and the City Council.
Catsimatidis, who ran for Mayor of New York City in 2013 as a ‘visionary’, was energized and articulated his views on a New York City World’s Fair for 2024. He pointed out that the plan he has in mind could mean important development for LaGuardia Airport and Kennedy Airport, along with interboro waterway connections and monorail service for the city’s future[…]
