Mayor Bob Buckhorn Tampa, Florida. Elected in 2011, will serve until May 2019. Before becoming mayor, Buckhorn served on the Tampa City Council from 1995 to 2003. Worked for Dewey Square Group, a public affairs firm, and Director of Governmental Affairs for the Builders Association of Greater Tampa. In 2007, he founded his own public affairs firm in Tampa called Buckhorn Partners
